Being an over-the-top excited about dip kind of person I was thinking today and I came to a realization. Some of my favorite dips involve cream cheese: warm spinach dip, crab dip- with the cocktail sauce, that chili cheese layer dip and Ali's candied jalapeno dip. I'd make one of them or all of them and eat them almost every day if I could.
It makes me sad that my husband hates cream cheese. He'll never understand...

Cream cheese was conceived by the devil to totally counteract any sensible eating I can possibly manage. Why can't they manage to make ff or rf cream cheese taste anything like the real deal?

Um, yeah, I too have a serious cc addiction. You forgot to mention cheesecake. Best use of cream cheese ever. Also crab dip with cc. Artichoke dip with cc. hot wing dip with cc. I heart cc. And my hubs also hates anything creamy. He hates sour cream in addition to cc. What a dumb ass.
Couldn't agree more. Lurve cream cheese. On the brightside, your hubby will get to avoid all of those calories that make me ask "what was I thinking" after consuming a bowl of dip or more less by myself.
How can anyone not love cream cheese?? It's wonderful. T will take a package, plop in on a plate, dump raspberry chipotle sauce on top and eat it with crackers. Uncorked taught him that little trick! He'll eat the whole thing if I let him. But I don't, because I love it, too. :)
